CSKA Moscow keeps leading the Russian League with a 17-1 record by thrashing Enisey 113-60 at home on Friday. Nikos Zisis and a recovered Matjaz Smodis paced the winners each with 17 points. Victor Khryapa added 13 while Trajan Langdon, Aleksey Shved and Marcus Goree each had 10 in an easy home win for CSKA, that led 63-28 at halftime and never looked back. Khimki did not play this week and stayed second at 16-2. Meanwhile, Dynamo moved up to 14-5 by downing CSK VVS-Samara 103-75 in Moscow also on Friday. Robertas Javtokas led the winners with 19 points. Sergey Monya added 16, Henry Domercant had 14, Travis Hansen and Sergei Bykov each got 12 while Antonis Fotsis scored 11 points for Dynamo, that had already sealed the outcome, 87-56, at the end of the third quarter. Triumph Lyubertsy improved to 13-5 by overwhelming Spartak St. Petersburg 103-65 at home on Saturday behind 13 points each from Igor Zamanskiy and Fedor Likohlitov. Ognjen Askrabic added 12 while Igor Kortenkov had 10 for Triumph. Unics Kazan registered an important win and improved to 12-6 by topping Lokomotiv Rostov 59-76 on the road on Saturday. Tariq Kirksay led the winners with 14 points, Sergei Chikalkin added 13 while Dusko Savanovic and Darjus Lavrinovic had 10 apiece for Unics. A 2-18 run that Nikolai Padius capped with a triple sealed the outcome, 31-53, midway through the third quarter. In other games, Sibirtelekom edged Universitet-Ugra 78-75 in Novosibirsk on Sunday.
