Tadija Dragicevic - Red Star The Serbian League Superleague - its second phase with the Adriatic League games back in action - started with an unexpected leader, none other than Lions Vrsac, that thrashed Borac Cacak 82-65 at home on Saturday. Nikola Jovanovic paced the winners with 19 points while Branko Jorovic added 13 for the Lions, that led 44-29 at halftime and did not have much trouble to add an easy win. Crvena Zvezda did not leave any doubt about its power by downing Vizura 73-88 behind 21 points from Tadija Dragicevic. Omar Cook added 14, Mlajden Sljivancanin added 12 while Miroslav Raicevic and Mirko Kovac each had 10 for Zvezda, that improved its defense after the break to break the game open, 56-71, after three quarters. Hemofarm Stada downed Vojvodina Srbijagas 66-71 in Novi Sad on Saturday. Nebojsa Joksimovic paced the winners with 16 points, Boban Marjanovic added 12 while Miljan Pavkovic had 10 for Hemofarm. Partizan Igokea postponed its game against FMP due to its do-or-die Euroleague Quarterfinal Playoffs showdown against Tau Ceramica next week.
