CEZ Basketball Nymburk improved to 39-1 in the Czech League by thrashing Kondori Liberec 59-83 on the road on Sunday. Nymburk became the regular season long ago and keeps rolling with four games to go in the regular season. Radoslav Rancik paced the winners with 32 points on 6-for-8 three-pointers and 11 rebounds. Petr Benda added 12 points while Arthur Lee had 10 for Nymburk, that led 29-43 at halftime, boosted its margin to 46-66 through an outstanding Rancik and cruised to yet another well-deserved win. Meanwhile, Geofin Novy Jicin got closer to lock the second spot at the end of this phase and improved to 31-9 by thrashing Synthesia Pardubice 92-58 at home on Friday behind 15 points from Robert Sarovic and 13 from Rostislav Pelikan. Proestejov stayed third now at 28-12 by downing A Plus OHL ZS Brno BC 83-92. Robert Tomaszek led Prostejov with 24 points while Marton Bader added 22. In other games, BC Kolin edged Usti nad Labem 74-77, USK Praha topped NH Ostrava 86-73 while Decin beat Sadska 67-74.
