The top teams in the Netherlands kept their positive momentum going as the regular season draws to a close with midweek wins in the Dutch League. First place MyGuide Amsterdam recorded a 55-77 win at Aris Friesland to improve to 30-7. Trent Tamien led the charge with 16 points, Peter van Paassen added 14 and Jeron Roberts 13 for the winners. Dillion Sneed paced Aris with 25 points and 14 rebounds. The West Brabant Giants remained ahead in the race for second place by topping Zorg & Zekerheid 94-77 thanks to the trip of Tim Blue (24 points), Patrick Pope (17 points and 8 assists) and Devonne Giles (17 points and 10 rebounds). Defending champion EiffelTowers Den Bosch ddin’t let the Giants gain any ground by seeing off Hanzevast Capitals 88-76. EiffelTowers scored only 10 first-quarter points and trailed 33-39 at halftime, but surged ahead with a 36-22 third quarter. Travis Young paced the winners with 26 points, Kees Akerboom Jr. added 15 and Brandon Griffin and Darrell Tucker added 12 points apiece. The other midweek result saw the Den Helder Seals edge the Rotterdam Challengers 92-90.
