Basket Bree kept its one-win lead atop the Belgian League standings on Saturday with an 85-79 overtime win over Dexia Mons-Hainaut. Bree improved to 22-7 and holds a slim margin over Spirou Basket Charleroi (21-9) and defending champion Telindus BC Oostende (21-8). Doron Perkins scored 20 points, grabbed 7 rebounds and dished 6 assists, Dor Fisher posted 13 points, 21 rebounds and 4 blocked shots and Nick Jacobson also scored 20 to lead Bree to victory. Oostende kept pace by beating Antwerp Diamond Giants on the road 79-84. Head coach Sharon Drucker's charges finished the game on a 1-11 charge during which Sam Van Rossm scored 5 to take the victory. Chris McCray led the way with 18 points, Veselin Petrovic added 17, Van Rossom scored 13 and Titus Ivory and Elvir Ovcina had 11 points apiece. Ovcina also grabbed 10 rebounds. David Toya led Antwerp with 25 points, Brandon Gay scored 13 and Ayinde Ubaka 12. Charleroi trounced VOO Verviers-Pepinster 57-94 as Matt Walsh netted 22, Andre Riddick had 15 and Justin Hamilton scored 14 and dished 6 assists. In other games, Generali Okapi Aalstar beat Belgacom Liège Basket 62-55 Spotter Leuven scored a 63-66 road win at Optima Gent behind 22 points from Anthony Dill.
