Ian Boylan - Swans Gmunden The Oberwart Gunners took care of business on Sunday by crushing UBC St. Polten 102-59 to clinch first place in the Austrian League at the end of the regular season. Oberwart outscored St. Polten by double figures in each of the last three periods to produce the blowout. Marko Moric led the charge with 20 points and 11 rebounds and Domonique Crawford added 18 for the winners. Meanwhile BSC Raiffeisen Furstenfeld, which could have finished in first if it won and Oberwart lost, went down 92-78 at Xion Dukes Klosterneuburg. Marquis Wright paced the Dukes with 17 points. The defending champion Allianz Swans Gmunden trounced the Kapfenberg Bulls 78-52 to finish in third place. Deteri Mayes led the way with 15 points, Ian Boylan added 14, Rashard Sullivan 13 and Kevin Johnson posted 12 points and 12 rebounds for the Swans. Also Sunday, WBC Kraftwerk Wels defeated Arkadia Traiskirchen 96-58.
