Union Olimpija punctuated its spot atop the Slovenian League standings on Wednesday by beating the team it lost to in last season's finals, Helios Domzale. Jasmin Hukic drilled 5 three-pointers en route to 25 points to lead Olimpija to a 76-93 road win at Domzale. Olimpija, which improved to 6-0, outscored Helios 39-56 in the middle two periods and shot 8 for 16 from downtown compared to 3 for 16 for the hosts. Hasan Rizvic added 18 points, Goran Dragic scored 16 and dished 9 assists and Ronnie Taylor finished with 15 points for Olimpija. Marijan Mance paced Helios with 20 points. In other games, TCG Mercator downed Elektra Esotech 94-86 as Sasa Ljubenovic netted 23; Simon Finzgar scored 21 to lead Luka Koper past Geoplin Slovan 79-68 and Zlatorog Lasko topped Krka 80-69 behind Lance Harris's 24 points.
