Julius Jenkins - Alba Berlin Alba Berlin stayed atop the German League standings with a 24-7 record by topping Telekom Baskets Bonn 83-78 at home on Sunday. Julius Jenkins led the winners with 23 points. Aleksandar Nadjfeji added 13 while Dragan Dojcin and Bobby Brown each had 10 for Alba, that led 76-75 with a minute to go. Jenkins sank back-to-back jumpers while Goran Nikolic added free throws to seal the outcome. Artland Dragons is third at 22-9 by beating EnBW Ludwigsburg 84-75 at home also on Sunday. Leon Rodgers paced the winners with 25 points on 5-for-6 three-pointers. Adam Chubb added 16, E.J. Rowland had 12 while Lamont McIntosh got 10 for Artland. Ronnie Ross had 21 points for Ludwigsburg, Heiko Schaffartzik 20 and Michel Ferreira 12. Artland led 67-54 after 30 minutes and managed to seal the win long before the final buzzer. Brose Baskets moved up to 21-10 by beating ratiopharm Ulm 69-79 on the road on Sunday. Robert Garrett led the way for Brose Baskets with 20 points, Steffen Hamann added 17 and Darren Fenn 12 for the winners, that trailed 50-45 after 30 minutes. Garrett and Hamann stepped up to seal an important win. Meanwhile, the Deutsche Bank Skyliners improved to 21-11 with a 64-83 road win against the Koln 99ers. ken Johnson led the winners with 22 points, Derrick Allen added 14, Koko Archibong had 12 while Jimmy McKinney and Pascal Roller each got 11 for the Skyliners. Mario Keselj had 17 points for Koln, Yassin Idbihi added 14 and Philipp Schwethelm 10. An outstanding fourth quarter helped the Skyliners to win the game. In other games, Eisberen Bremerhaven edged EWE Baskets Oldenburg 73-68, Walter Tigers Tubingen topped BG 74 Gottingen 61-62, Bayer Giants Leverkusen thrashed Science City Jena 57-84, digibu Baskets downed TBB Trier 71-74 while LTi Giessen 46ers defeated New Yorker Phantoms Braunschweig 76-69.
