Austrian League playoffs, Quarterfinals, Game 5: April 27, 2008
The Kapfenberg Bulls booked the last ticket to the Austrian League semifinals Sunday with an 86-91 road win over Arkadia Traiskirchen in the fifth and final game of the best-of-five quarterfinals series. The game was close throughout, with Traiskirchen leading 48-46 at halftime and the Bulls up 71-74 after three periods. A 2-7 spurt to open the fourth quarter gave the visitors some protection and the Bulls held on, sealing thw in with Ivan Gragat's free throw with 9.6 seconds remaining. Kevin Nelson paced the winners with 24 points and Shawn Ray and Ramiz Suljanovic added 19 apiece. Davor Lamesic scored 32 for Traiskirchen in defeat. The Bulls will meet the Oberwart Gunners in one semifinals series, while Allianz Swans Gmunden take on BSC Raiffeisen Furstenfeld in the other.
