Zalgiris Kaunas beat rival Lietuvos Rytas 87-80 to even the best-of-seven Lithuanian League Finals at one win apiece. Zalgiris held L. Rytas scoreless for the first two-plus minutes as it started 8-0 on triples from Jonas Maciulis and DeJuan Collins and never looked back. The lead reached double figures midway through the opening period and Zalgiris held on for an important victory. Chuck Eidson and Hollis Price led a fourth-quarter charge as L. Rytas closed the gap to 2, but Marcus Brown and Goran Jurak made clutch baskets down the stretch to seal the win. Collins led Zalgiris with 18 points and 7 assists, Brown and Damir Markota added 15 points apiece and Maciulis finished with 11 for the winners. Kenan Bajramovic led L. Rytas with 18 points, Eidson had 16, Price 14 and Matt Nielsen posted 10 points and 8 rebounds in defeat.
