Zadar became the Croatian League second phase champion with a 12-1 record and got the home court advantage in the upcoming playoffs by edging Split CO 86-84 on a game-winning three-pointer by Juby Johnson. Corey Brewer led the winners with 20 points, Jere Macura added 15, Johnson had 14 while Andrej Stimac got 10 for Zadar. Anthony Akins had 21 points for Zagreb while Hrvoje Peric and Damjan Rudez each added 18. A three-pointer by Barac gave Zadar a 77-65 midway through the fourth quarter but Peric, Ruden and Akins fueled a 4-17 run that gave Zagreb a 81-82 edge. Brewer made free throws, Peric dunked it in the other end but Johnson beat the buzzer with a huge three-pointer. Zagreb ties with Split with a 10-3 record by thrashing Sibenik 9-72 at home also on Saturday. Ante Tomic paced the winners with 27 points on 9-for-13 two-pointers and 9-for-10 free throws. Cibona moved up to 9-4 by topping Cedevita 79-93 on the road on Saturday behind 23 points and 6 assists from Damir Mulaomerovic. Sam Hoskin added 16 points, Marin Rozic had 12 while Chris Warren got 11 for Cibona, that led 38-55 at halftime and never looked back. In other games, Svjetlost Brod beat Dubrava 68-54 with 23 points from Krunoslav Rimac.
