Defending champion Helios Domzale made sure that Union Olimpija wouldn't enter the Slovenian League playoffs undefeated with a 74-89 win on Tuesday night, while Krka topped Zlatorog Lasko to secure a spot in the semifinals. Krka's win meant that three teams – Krka, Lasko and Geoplin Slovan – finished the stage of the season with identical 8-6 records, but the latter was squeezed out of the playoffs on a tiebreaker. The semifinals, which begin Saturday, will pit Olimpija against Lasko and Domzale against Krka. In a game that was for protocol only, Domzale benefited from a well-balanced scoring effort that saw five players scored in double figures. Robert Troha led the charge with 19 points and Aleksej Laskevic posted 14 points and 10 rebounds for his third double-double in the last four games. Goran Dragic led Olimpija with 20 points, Jasmin Hukic added 14 and Marko Milic had 12. Krka punched its ticket to the playoffs by beating Lasko 64-58 as Thomas Sorrentine recorded 16 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. In other games, Slovan bested Luka Koper 77-65 behind 28 points from Jaka Klobucar and TCG Mercator defeated Elektra Esotech 69-72 thanks to Jure Erzen's 20 points.
