Antwerp signs Mikulas, Sears

The Antwerp Giants have been busy preparing for their first season in the ULEB Cup, strengthening the squad with the signings of forward Gabriel Mikulas and point guard Ryan Sears. Mikulas (201, 27) was among the top players in his native Argentina last season averaging 11.7 points and 5.7 rebounds for Penarol. Antwerp will be his first club in Europe. Meanwhile Sears (186, 28) arrives from Dutch side Matrixx Magixx Nijmegen, which he helped win the Dutch Cup. The American floor general averaged 11.5 points, 4.7 assists and 3.1 steals in 35 minutes per game this past season. Both players signed for two years.
