Artland Dragons tab forward Terrance Thomas

The Artland Dragons made their third signing ahead of their first season in the ULEB Cup on Friday by bringing in forward Terrance Thomas, last with the Fort Worth Flyers in the NBDL. Thomas (198, 26) has a season of ULEB Cup experience under his belt after averaging 10.5 points and 7.7 rebounds per game with Ventspils two years ago. He developed his game at Baylor University, where he averaged 15.9 points, 6.7 rebounds and 3.1 assists per game as a senior. His first club in Europe was T71 Dudelange of Luxembourg in the 2004-05 season, where he dominated with 37.1 points, 18.5 rebounds and 5.4 assists per game. After a solid season with Ventspils, Thomas returned to the United States to play for the Flyers, where he posted 9.6 points, 6.6 rebounds and 2.6 assists in 45 NBDL games. He joins Adam Chubb and John Goldsberry as the two players signed so far by the Dragons.
