Dragons finalize squad with Dirk Madrich

The Artland Dragons rounded out their roster for their upcoming ULEB Cup debut with the signing of center Dirk Madrich, who returns to his homeland after a season in France with Strasbourg. Madrich (210, 24) brings some needed ULEB-Cup experience with him, having played in the competition in three of the past four seasons. Last year he averaged 4.1 points and 2.8 rebounds in 13 appearances off the bench for Strasbourg, as the club reached the quarterfinals for the first time. He began his career with Stadt Sport Braunschweig and also played for GHP Bamberg and Breitengussbach, before moving to France. He has also played for the German Under-20 and the senior 'B' national teams.
