Slask signs big man Rizvic
Hasan Rizvic Asco Slask Wroclaw, one of three ULEB Cup representatives from Poland, has signed center Hasan Rizvic, who has shown his rebounding and shot-blocking skills in the Euroleague. Rizvic (212, 23) arrives from Union Olimpija in his native Slovenia, where last season he averaged 4 points, 4.6 rebounds and 1.1 blocks in 14 Euroleague regular-season games. He ranked fifth in total blocks and seventh in average at the end of the regular season. He finished last season with Bosna Sarajev. Earlier in his career, Rizvic played for Pivovarna Lasko, also in Slovenia. Rizvic is the latest player to sign a contract with Asco Slask, following Shaun Fontain, Kemal Avdic and Aivaras Kiausas. Slask also exented the contract of Brandun Hughes.
