Asco Slask Wroclaw, one of three ULEB Cup representatives from Poland, has upgraded its backcourt by bringing in Ayinde Ubaka, a rookie playmaker who spent the last four seasons playing for the University of California at Berkeley. Ubaka (195, 22) averaged 13.7 points and 4.3 assists last season for the Golden Bears. He finished his college basketball career third on the school's alltime charts in three-pointers made (160) and fourth in assists (417).
