Regular Season Week 2 review

Three newcomers among five exclusive group leaders
|
After 27 games in one night of Week 2, some interesting developments are visible in the the seven regular season groups. For one, Turkey is on the rise. Two teams from Turkey - Besiktas ColaTurka in Group B and Galatasaray in Group C - are alone in first place, while that country's third representative, Turk Telekom, is tied for the Group A lead with DKV Joventut of Spain. Galatasaray is among five debut teams out of 11 total that are still undefeated. Two other newcomers, Triumph Lyubertsy of Russia and Swans Gmunden of Austria, share the Group E lead, while BC Kalev/Cramo of Estonia is alone atop Group G and BC Kyiv of Ukraine the sole leader in Group H. Group D also has undefeated co-leaders in Pamesa of Spain and Khimki of Russia. Last, but not least, Group I has no leader: or rather, six, as all its teams are tied at 1-1. Meanwhile, exacly 11 teams are left looking still for their first victories after pocketing second defeats in a row..
