Week 10 MVP: Cordell Henry, Ovarense Aerosoles

Although it was one of three teams that finished the regular season without registering a single victory, Ovarense Aerosoles walked away with the consolation of seeing one of its players record one of the top individual performances in ULEB Cup history. Cordell Henry of Ovarense became the Week 10 MVP with a 46 performance index rating in his team's road loss against the Koln 99ers. His showing ties Henry for the sixth-best individual performance ever recorded in the competition, now in its sixth season. Henry scored 38 points by making 7 of 9 two-point shots, 5 of 10 triples and 9 of 10 free throws against Koln. He added 4 rebounds, 6 assists and 7 fouls drawn to amass a 46 index. Next, with an index of 29, was Ventspils big man Akinlolu Akingbala, who led his team to an important home win against FMP with 23 points on 11-for-16 two-point shooting, 13 rebounds, 3 steals and 7 blocks. Mike Martin of Guildford Heat had a 37 index in his team's final ULEB Cup game this season, a home loss against Turk Telekom. Martin had 28 points on 4-for-4 three-pointers, 15 rebounds and 4 steals. Willie Deane of Lukoil Academic (index 34) and Tremell Darden of Spirou Charleroi (33) completed the top individual performances this week.

Ovarense's Henry was the Week 10 top scorer with 38 points, which tied him for the fifth-best scoring night in ULEB Cup history. Randy Duck remains the all-time single-game top scorer with his 49 points for Brighton Bears in a 2004 double overtime victory. Meanwhile, Henry Domercant of Dynamo Moscow is this regular season's scoring champ thanks to an average of 22 points per game. He also led the index ranking standings at 23 per game. Martin of Guildford led all Week 10 rebounders by pulling down 15 against Turk Telekom. Tariq Kirksay was the regular season top rebounder with 10.5 per game. Brandon Woudstra of EnBW Ludwigsburg was the only player to register double digits in assists in Week 10, dishing 11 in his team's road win against Panionios. Willie Deane of Lukoil Academic became the regular season assists champion at 6.6 per night. Akingbala's 7 blocks in Ventspils' home win against FMP tied for the second-most ever in a ULEB Cup game. Andre Riddick and Ken Johnson hold the record with 8 each. Akingbala also became the regular season blocks champ at 2.56 per game, as Johnson of Olympic Fribourg (3.9 bpg.) did not reach the minimum number of games to qualify. As many as 8 players collected 5 steals apiece in Week 10. Chris Williams of Turk Telekom led the regular season overall standings at 2.9 steals per game. As many as 14 players registered respective double-doubles in this round. Among them were Oostende teammates Chuck Davis (18 points, 10 rebounds) and Elvir Ovcina (13 points, 12 rebounds).
