Turk Telekom has beefed up its frontcourt ahead of the ULEB Cup Last 32 with the addition of center Kris Lang, who started the season with another ULEB Cup side, Azovmash Mariupol. Lang (29, 211) will take the place of Michael Wright, who was a force for the club early in the season, but has been sidelined since late December with a knee injury and is not expected back any time soon, if at all this season. Lang has already undergone a physical and will make his debut for his new team in the Turkish Cup Final 8 matches in Ankara this weekend. Lang played college basketball at the University of North Carolina and played in Europe in Poland, Spain, Italy and Ukraine. This season with Azovmash Mariupol, he averaged 14.8 points and 7.4 rebounds in 28 minutes over five games. He also had 12.9 points and 6.2 rebounds in nine Ukrainian League appearances.
